Welcome To Heathrow Muslim Community Center (HMCC)
Since there was no Masjid in Lake Mary area and the growing population of Muslims in the area prompted the need of a masjid in Lake Mary area. The Heathrow Muslim Community Center was established to help facilitate folks working on Lake Mary as closes Masjid at the time was about 15 – 20 mins one way drive. At times, it made it very difficult for working professionals to attend Jummah. The Heathrow Muslim Community Center provided an option to be less than 10 mins driving distance.
The is a community place open to anyone, not only a mosque for prayer. The Center is dedicated to preserving Islamic identity, creating and sustaining a vibrant Muslim community, and advancing a comprehensive Islamic way of life based on the Holy Quran and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad.
